ABOUT YOU
You have over 5+ years of UI/UX design experience specifically in the games industry, with a proven track record of creating successful and engaging game interfaces.
You are highly skilled in design software, such as Figma and Photoshop.
You possess a strong and diverse portfolio that showcases your expertise in UX & UI design, demonstrating your design thinking, advocacy for the player, and deliverables.
You are experienced with user-centric design methodologies and have created or used design systems to ensure frictionless, consistent experiences.
You are comfortable driving UX from ideation to implementation, providing a voice for the player throughout the development lifecycle.
You have excellent communication and teamwork skills, enabling you to give feedback in a constructive way, and the flexibility to adapt to new directions to turn ideas into usable flows and interfaces.
You stay up-to-date with the latest mobile gaming trends and best practices, and can incorporate this knowledge into your designs.
You have a genuine passion for gaming and understand the unique challenges and opportunities within the mobile gaming industry.
UI/UX Design: Create and refine user interface designs for mobile games, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing.
Collaboration: Work closely with game designers, developers, artists, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver designs that enhance the gaming experience.
User Research: Conduct user research, gather feedback, and perform usability testing to inform and iterate on design decisions.
Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
Design Documentation: Produce detailed design documentation, including user flows and wireframes, to ensure clear communication and alignment with the development team.
Trend Analysis: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance the design process and product quality.
Iteration and Testing: Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, testing results, and team input to improve the user experience.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that the final product meets design specifications and maintains a high standard of quality

Salary range: $90K - $120K annually CAD
