for playing and making games, with an understanding of what makes them fun and engaging. Reporting to the Director of XD, our ideal candidate has proven experience in mobile free-to-play games, has Unity experience, and is a self-starter that can hit the ground running
ABOUT YOU
3 You have over 3 years of UI/UX design experience specifically in the mobile gaming industry, with a proven track record of creating successful and engaging game
interfaces.
You are highly skilled in design software, including Figma and Photoshop.
You possess a strong and diverse portfolio that showcases your expertise in mobile game UI/UX design, highlighting your ability to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
You have excellent communication and teamwork skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with developers, artists, and other stakeholders to bring your designs to life.
You stay up-to-date with the latest mobile gaming platforms, trends, and best practices, and can incorporate this knowledge into your designs.
You have strong problem-solving skills and can think critically to address design challenges and improve the overall user experience.
You possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work that meets functional requirements.
You have a genuine passion for gaming and understand the unique challenges and opportunities within the mobile gaming industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
UI/UX Design: Create and refine user interface designs for mobile games, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing.
Collaboration: Work closely with game designers, developers, artists, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver designs that enhance the gaming experience.
User Research: Conduct user research, gather feedback, and perform usability testing to inform and iterate on design decisions.
Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
Design Documentation: Produce detailed design documentation, including user flows and wireframes, to ensure clear communication and alignment with the development team.
Trend Analysis: Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance the design process and product quality.
Iteration and Testing: Continuously iterate on designs based on user feedback, testing results, and team input to improve the user experience.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that the final product meets design specifications and maintains a high standard of quality

Salary range: $70K - $100K annually CAD
