As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for helping to design our product, understanding how a game works as a service for its customers and project how customers behave. You are expected to improve player engagement by enabling data-driven recommendations..

ABOUT YOU

  • You have previous work experience with free-to-play mobile games, with a strong focus on social systems

  • You possess a deep understanding of player psychology and social dynamics in online communities, with a focus on how these translate to game features.

  • You have experience defining, analyzing, and optimizing social systems such as guilds, friends lists, chat, competitive/cooperative multiplayer, gifting, and community-driven content.

  • You are able to analyze and monitor important metrics and user feedback on a real-time basis to improve relevant metrics.

  • You find it gratifying to measure the success of product features after release and optimize their performance through split-testing and data-driven iteration.

  • You enjoy working with the engineering teams to design and implement tools and techniques for automating live events and offers for users.

  • You possess strong analytical and formal thinking, able to break problems down in their key variables and identify the relations between them.

  • You have experience conducting user research and gathering qualitative feedback to understand player motivations and behaviors related to social interactions.

  • You can identify and address potential issues related to player toxicity or negative social behaviors, working to create a positive community environment.

  • You have a passion for games in any format.

RESPONSIBILITIES

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of in-game social systems such as guilds, chat, friends lists, gifting, and multiplayer features that deepen community engagement.

  • Analyze player behavior and feedback to refine features and improve social experiences, using both real-time data and long-term trends.

  • Partner with design, engineering, and data teams to develop and launch scalable systems that support player-to-player interactions, content sharing, and positive community growth.

  • Identify and respond to social friction points—such as toxicity, exclusion, or unbalanced systems—by proposing and testing solutions that promote a healthy in-game culture.

  • Design experiments, run A/B tests, and use insights to drive iteration on social features and events.

  • Collaborate with engineers to define tooling that automates social events and live content, ensuring repeatable systems that scale across content drops and seasonal updates.

  • Conduct user research and analyze qualitative feedback to better understand the motivations behind player interactions and guide product decisions accordingly.

  • Stay current on trends in social gameplay, live service mechanics, and mobile gaming communities, and use that knowledge to influence the product roadmap.

  • Continuously measure the success of new social features and make data-informed adjustments to maximize player satisfaction and retention

DETAILS

  • Full time:- 40 hours per week

  • Salary range: $150K - $175K annually CAD
