We are seeking a passionate and experienced Principal Rendering Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in the development of our exciting new mobile fighting game, built on the Unity engine.
As the Principal Rendering Engineer, you will be a key member of our game development team, responsible for leading and driving the rendering technology development for our mobile fighting game. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our game delivers cutting-edge visuals while maintaining optimal performance on a variety of mobile
devices.
ABOUT YOU
5+ years of professional game development experience with a strong focus on rendering technology
Proficiency in C# and experience with Unity's rendering pipeline
Strong knowledge of graphics programming, shaders (HLSL/GLSL), and rendering techniques
Experience with performance optimization on mobile platforms
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards addressing technical challenges
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development and optimization of rendering systems and pipelines.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring the game runs smoothly on a range of mobile devices without compromising visual quality
Collaborate closely with artists, designers, and other engineers to ensure the rendering technology aligns with the artistic vision and gameplay requirements
Create and maintain shaders for various materials, characters, and environments to achieve the desired visual style
Work to achieve the highest possible rendering quality within the constraints of mobile hardware
Maintain clear and concise documentation of rendering systems and processes for the benefit of the development team
Stay up-to-date with the latest rendering techniques and technologies, and apply them to enhance the game's visuals

The Senior Technical Artist will act as a bridge between the artists and engineers. They will use their technical eye towards high visual fidelity asset optimization. The main areas of responsibilities include art production workflows, tools, pipelines, asset optimization/integration, character rigging, and brilliant shader development.
