Drop Fake Inc is a forward-thinking mobile game studio with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding gaming experiences on mobile platforms. We are currently in search of a dedicated and seasoned Game Play Engineer to join our team and assume a key role in shaping the gameplay mechanics of our exciting new mobile fighting game.
We are looking for an experienced Mid-Level Gameplay Programmer with a strong background in Unity and a proven track record of contributing to the development and successful launch of at least two mobile games. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who possesses a deep understanding of game mechanics, gameplay systems, and player engagement strategies. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring our game concepts to life and create unforgettable player experiences.
ABOUT YOU
2+ years of experience in a hands-on development role in the industry
Proficient with modern game engine architecture. Experience with Unity3D is a huge plus
Very comfortable with working in a C#/C++ environment
Passionate for gameplay with a strong design eye
Passion for video/mobile games and a keen interest in staying current with industry trends
Strong understanding of mobile hardware, performance optimization, and memory management
Solid communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with designers, artists, and other programmers to implement gameplay systems, features
and mechanics in potentially any these areas:Combat and ability systems
Scripting systems
Animation
AI
Cameras
Cinematics
Prototype and rapidly-iterate on new design and features
Develop and maintain new data-driven tools and workflows for designers, animators and VFX artists
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices and studio standards

Drop Fake is working on our first game. We are a remote-first games company founded in 2021. We are building a cross-platform strategy game that will be open and available to all.
The Senior Technical Artist will act as a bridge between the artists and engineers. They will use their technical eye towards high visual fidelity asset optimization. The main areas of responsibilities include art production workflows, tools, pipelines, asset optimization/integration, character rigging, and brilliant shader development.
