Drop Fake Inc. is hiring a data engineer to work on our proprietary backend. Drop Fake is a start-up specializing in mobile game development. The data engineer will be reporting to the lead backend engineer and will be developing new services, tools and features for our platform.

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, statistics, data science or an or another quantitative field

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience (NodeJS and Python preferred)

  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pubsub, etc)

  • Experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing

  • Comfortable working in a remote environment

  • Experience working in an Agile development environment and familiar with process management tools such as JIRA

  • Expertise building applied models, systems, or projects in: recommendation systems, game balancing/skill assessment, and/or ML/AI engineering

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implementation of scalable and reliable data pipelines to transform data

  • Design, develop and deploy scalable machine learning pipelines/systems

  • Partner with backend, data and product teams to develop new features

  • Design and develop applied machine learning models and architecture for delivery

  • Design, implement, and maintain reliable, high-performance distributed systems

  • Full time:- 40 hours per week

  • Salary range: $100K - $130K annually CAD
